How we make it

Fewer than a dozen ingredients in everything we make, all named, including the preservative where there is one. Orders leave Sheridan within 2 business days. Unopened items come back within 30 days, and we will send a free sachet of anything you want to patch test first.

A short range, made in small batches

We carry 13 formulations across 4 categories, between $22.00 and $58.00. Every formulation here has fewer than a dozen ingredients and all of them are on the label in plain order. The range is short because reformulating one product properly takes months and a long catalogue means most of it was never really tested — it was a base oil with a different scent dropped in.

Ingredients

Cold-pressed plant oils, botanical extracts and essential oils, with a preservative in anything containing water because the alternative is a jar of bacteria that smells nice for three weeks. We name the preservative. A product that claims to be preservative-free and contains water is either lying or unsafe, and there is no third option.

Scent and skin

Scent comes from essential oils and absolutes, never from a fragrance blend hiding thirty undeclared components behind the word parfum. That means the scent is quieter and does not last as long, which is a real trade-off and we would rather you knew about it. Everything is patch-testable: sachets of any product on request, free.
